A new logo, a new website company and new plans

by Silvana de Soissons26th February 2014

We commissioned our calligrapher Peter Horridge to create a roundel motif for us, so that we can make some shop gift tags for Mother’s Day, birthday presents, special occasions etc.

We are going to get the roundel turned into a stamp by The English Stamp Company in Dorset.

Peter also created the calligraphy for The Foodie Bugle journal and our print editions. We are having a bit of a revamp of our journal website by the design agency team Mud in Bath, who will be looking after our websites from now on. Our journal will keep focusing on the stories behind the artisan producers and makers who make our shop possible, but we wanted to make the design more contemporary and user friendly.

In the pipeline: more artisan food producers, more useful homewares, both old and new, hampers, tuck boxes and a new high street shop and traiteur.
