Book Launch Party – “One Pot Gourmet Gardener” by Cinead McTernan and Jason Ingram

We are really thrilled to be hosting the book launch party for “One Pot Gourmet Gardener” by gardening writer and edible garden expert Cinead McTernan and her husband, the multi-award winning photographer Jason Ingram.

We are preparing delicious nibbles and drinks from the book – to celebrate the flavours, colours and textures of pot grown recipes. This is Cinead and Jason’s second book, closely following the much acclaimed “Kitchen Garden Experts”, also published by Frances Lincoln. Our event is a great opportunity to meet and chat with the authors and ask any questions you may have about growing your own gourmet meals in containers.

Published by Frances Lincoln, the book ingeniously shows how you can grow complete recipe combinations in a humble garden pot, regardless of how small your garden is, then harvest the crop and create a simple, tasty dish the whole family will love.

There are 25 recipes in the book, ranging from picnic food to soups and salads, quick suppers, accompanying dips and pickles, and even drinks and puddings. The layout is didactic and informative, ensuring you have all the step-by-step information to prepare, sow, cultivate, manage, protect and store everything from tomatoes to chard, celery, herbs, courgettes, salads, radishes, strawberries, lavender and blackberries.

Grow your own gazpacho, Pimm’s jellies, broad bean and sage custards, carrot hummus, radish and shallot pickles or even lemon verbena and rose geranium posset. Beautifully photographed and produced, this is a great gift for all gardeners, cooks and those urban dwellers who never thought they could grow their own food.
