August opening times:  By private appointment only. All lunch, dinner and private party bookings taken for groups of 4 - 12 people, please e-mail to book. 


Food: We serve the sort of homemade Italian-English food we cook for ourselves - seasonal soups, salads, stews and local cheeses, charcuterie and breads, as well as cakes and biscuits. 


Payment: only cash or cheques

We serve small plates - 

1 plate = £5     2 plates:  £10    3 plates: £15   4 plates: £20



Summer garden soup with olive oil focaccia

Salsa verde and salsa bianca bruschette

Wiltshire lamb neck fillets cooked with flageolet beans

Rosemary, lemon and garlic potatoes

Tomato lovage salad

Roast chicken with rosemary, garlic and fennel



Chocolate and almond cake

Gooseberry cream pavlova

Vanilla and pecan nut biscotti

Lemon cake with peaches and cream


Bread and cheese

Homemade Lombard bread rolls, butter and local brie, cheddar and Wiltshire Loaf cheese platter


Drinks - all £2.20 per glass-cup

Tea and coffees are served during the shop opening hours, 10am – 6pm, Friday-Sunday 10am - 6pm
