Jason Ingram’s New Website

Photographer Jason Ingram, who shot all our Foodie Bugle Shop product photographs and lookbook, has a new website.

It is a colourful collection of beautiful photographs of his work across editorial, commercial and publishing commissions, which have earned him lots of awards and accolades both at home and abroad.

In the food section he has included some of the photographs he shot for the two year recipe series we did together for The English Garden magazine. The series, which will be published until the end of 2014, showcases simple, rustic homecooking across the seasons.

I interviewed Jason a few years back, when I first met him, to learn all about what it takes to become a professional food-garden-people-interiors photographer.

After graduating with a degree in photography from Salisbury College of Art in 1992, he served a long apprenticeship, and assisted other photographers before setting out on his own, carving his own niche and cultivating a wide client list. He has gone on to shoot the kitchen gardens of Le Manoir Aux Quat’ Saisons, Dan Pearson for The Observer, lots of RHS shows for BBC Gardeners World and celebrity chefs, and he even photographed his own book, written by his wife Cinead McTernan, who is the Gardens Editor of The Simple Things magazine.

“Kitchen Garden Experts. Twenty Celebrated Chefs and Their Head Gardeners”, is published by Frances Lincoln on 1st May 2014.

Don’t miss the new website, the new book and The English Garden ~ enjoy!
