A beginner’s embroidery workshop with Marion Bedford

Come and spend a morning or an afternoon learning embroidery skills – this course is suitable for sewers of all ages. From split stitch to straight stitch, your tutor Marion Bedford will show you how create simple patterns and how to embroider a bunch of flowers with a monogram.


Marion is a very experienced embroiderer, sewer and quilter and you can see her work on her Instagram feed @purplesprouts. She is currently doing a Diploma in Embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework and teaches at Fine Cell Work. She will provide all the materials you need for the course.

Times:             Morning Course 10am – 1pm

                        Afternoon Course 2.30pm – 5.30pm

Class size:       8-10 people

Ticket Price:    £60 per person for three hours
