Independent Bath Media Trail Day on Thursday 30th March 2017

by Silvana de Soissons26th January 2017

Hello dear readers and Bath business owners,

I am organising a special Independent Bath Media Trail Day on Thursday 30th March 2017 to celebrate the wonderful small businesses that make our city special and unique.

Starting after a delicious breakfast at 10am, with the help of Visit Bath, we are taking talented bloggers, journalists and social media wizards on a trail round our city to showcase the very best artisan bakeries, family owned cafes and hotels, independent restaurants and our favourite inspiring shops. The hashtag for social media is #independentbath

What we are hoping to achieve is to raise awareness online and in print of how important this micro economy is to Bath – a UNESCO World Heritage City filled with beautiful Roman and Georgian architecture and bustling with skilled private entrepreneurs who work round the clock to make the visitor experience so special and authentic.

The hashtag for the day will be #independentbath

It’s going to be a very special day. If you are an Independent Bath shop, café, hotel, gallery or restaurant and are able to offer a sample of food or drink for us in your premises or any goodies to put in the guests’ goodie bags, please let me know.

Here are the details:

Date: Thursday 30th March 2017

Time: 10am – 5 pm

Place: Meeting at The Foodie Bugle, 2 Abbey Street, Bath, BA1 1NN

Refreshments: Breakfast, lunch, wine and teatime treats.

I hope that lots of Independent Bath businesses will participate - please e-mail me, Silvana at info@thefoodiebugle.com to let me know if you would like to take part!

All good wishes and thank-you for taking part!
