One Day Plant and Garden Photography Workshop with Jason Ingram

We are hosting a one day plant and garden photography workshop with Jason Ingram on 5th June 2017. 

Jason is a multi-award winning garden-food-people-lifestyle photographer who has been commissioned by many lifestyle magazines, ranging from Country Living, House and Garden, Gardens Illustrated, Coast and The English Garden as well as national newspapers, like The Telegraph and The Observer, and international book publishers, such as Octopus and Ebury Publishing.

He has taught a wide range of photography workshops all over Britain, helping budding photographers hone their skills to take really great images for personal or professional use.

Jason will teach you everything you need to know to create really excellent shots outside - either for your own use, for blogs, social media or editorial work.

Here's what you can enjoy on our plant and garden photography workshop on 5th June :

 

10.00am Arrive The Foodie Bugle, 2 Abbey Street, Bath, BA1 1NN  - hot drinks, juice, pastries and introduction 

 

10.45am Illustrated talk showing Jason’s work and revealing the techniques he uses

 

11.45am - 1pm Demonstration showing how to shoot and style flowers and plants - including macro techniques for plant portraiture. Jason will also show some of the invaluable bits of kit he uses to achieve the best images.

 

1pm - 2pm Lunch at The Foodie Bugle - a seasonal lunch with wine and cakes

 

2pm - 4pm Jason will lead you around the Bath Botanical Gardens revealing further photography techniques. You will also be photographing whilst Jason will be on hand to help you with any

technical questions regarding your own photography.

 

Skills needed:  This workshop is aimed at those already familiar with using a camera. Please bring your own SLR camera, tripod, spare memory card and batteries. Wear comfortable clothes and sensible shoes.
