Brown Paper Packages Tied Up with String

We feel very passionately about recycling and sustainable packaging.

When Foodie Bugle Shop customers receive a parcel through the post, we want them to be really thrilled and delighted, obviously, with the contents. But the packaging matters too, and for that reason we have spent a great deal of time thinking about how we wanted our brand to be represented.

Our brown paper packaging tied up with string is accompanied by delivery notes and cards, and we have also had Gift Vouchers made.

Design is by Moresoda of Bath, photography by Jason Ingram of Bristol and printing by Cambrian Printers of Aberystwyth. The calligraphy for our logo is by Peter Horridge.

We wanted the ethos of the business to be sustainable, environmentally friendly and organic – recycling, reusing and reinventing all the packaging we receive from suppliers makes sense!.

Rajapack of Bedford also do a very good range of recycled papers and cardboard boxes for online retailers. We bought string from Nutscene, and we loved it so much we decided to stock it in the shop.

Eschewing waste, fuss and bling we hope our eco-thrift look will resonate with our customers. As always we love feedback: you can Tweet us @TheFoodieBugle or e-mail us at [email protected]
