The Foodie Bugle Lectures at The Royal Oak, Leighterton, Tetbury, Gloucestershire

We are organising a Foodie Bugle Lecture event at The Royal Oak in Leighterton, near Tetbury, Gloucestershire  on Thursday 13th June 2013, starting at 10am. The Lectures are an opportunity to bring together food and drink artisans, entrepreneurs, writers, bloggers and food lovers, to share experience, knowledge and wisdom over speeches, conversation and a seasonal lunch of regional and local produce with wine and ale.

The speakers are: Richard Dempster, co-founder of Bath Ales; Ben Lambourne, owner of Pong Cheese, and Tom Russell, marketing manager of Shipton Mill.

The speakers will talk about how they set up their business or activity, how they managed to create their brand and identity, find their suppliers and route to market and generate a loyal customer base. If they knew then what they know now, what would they do differently and why? What advice would they give to young artisans, writers and cooks aspiring to work in the food and drink industry?

There will be no technology and no power point presentations: just straight talk, from the mind and the heart. Each lecture will be followed by a short Q and A session.
