A cookery demonstration with Silvana de Soissons

by Silvana de Soissons11th September 2015

Before I set up my shop I used to be a private caterer and cookery teacher, as well as a food writer and food stylist.

So many of our tearoom customers and Instagram followers ask for the recipe for the soups, salads, jams, compotes and deli dishes we create every day to eat in or take out, so I thought I would do a demonstration in the shop to show everyone how we prepare the dishes.

We use fresh, seasonal, local produce to create all our recipes – and they are simple, healthy and achievable at home. We mainly serve plant based dishes, using pulses, grains, fruit, vegetables and fresh herbs as well as edible flowers. Cheeses, charcuterie and smoked salmon are also used in our kitchen.

You can come and watch me make the dishes, whilst you enjoy a delicious glass of wine and relax. Then we will all sit around communal tables and enjoy the results! All the details are on the poster and you can purchase a ticket in our Bath shop or in our online shop here.
